Fibre Broadband

Fibre Broadband offers the pinnacle of speed and service for broadband in the UK

How does it work?

We’ve coupled our core Next Generation network with BT’s Next Generation Access network to supply a set of business-grade broadband products, engineered to the highest standards.  Fibre Broadband uses Fibre To The Cabinet (FTTC) technology. This means that between the local exchange and the roadside cabinet, the original copper connection is replaced by fibre and from the cabinet to the premises, the existing copper connection remains.

FTTC can deliver speeds of up to 80Mbps downstream and up to 20Mbps upstream, depending on the customer’s location and, as with all our services, it can be ordered and managed online via the secure and simple-to-use Portal.

Here are some of the key reasons to choose Fibre Broadband:

Fibre Ethernet

If your business needs premium, high-speed connectivity with high availability and capacity, our Ethernet service delivers up to 1Gbps dedicated bandwidth. It’s not only fast, it’s flexible, as bandwidth can be quickly upgraded when needed.

As more services move into the cloud so the need for fast, secure and reliable internet connectivity has become essential. Max Telecom Ethernet products provide highly reliable, secure and fast data connectivity.

Fibre ethernet

Ethernet services can help reduce the cost of private networking while improving the quality of service and support. We offer scalability and flexibility unavailable from legacy services. And we deliver dedicated, secure, uncontended business-class connections for all your voice and data traffic.

Is Fibre Ethernet right for my business?

Organisations of all sizes choose Max Telecom for their data needs. Here are some examples of how we help them:

  • Meeting growing demand for bandwidth
  • Providing voice and data convergence for cost savings and additional functionality
  • Equipping the business for cloud-based services
  • Enabling large-scale IP telephony where ISDN is too expensive and inflexible

Ethernet is now the de facto high-speed connectivity technology of choice, as organisations seek to capitalise on the increasing demand for more bandwidth provided over fast and reliable technology. As more services and applications are being positioned over ethernet, driven by cloud-based and hosted technologies, there is strong demand for both a decrease in costs and an enhancement to the service wrap. With forecasts predicting 15% growth year-on-year for the next five years, now is the perfect time to buy  Fibre Ethernet.
